I don’t understand what is happening?
That’s probably because it hasn’t happened yet! The Lucky Ones is all about uncovering different elements of the narrative. Some parts won’t become clear until further down the line. But hang in there and trust your gut!
No, not at all. We estimate once a week is more realistic. This also depends on your choices throughout your experience. Most of the interactions come to you, and are worked around your day-to-day life.
Will I have to be in Leeds every day?
Will I miss the piece if I am out all day?
Absolutely not! Don’t worry, this is a pervasive experience and therefore fits into/around your normal day to day routine. If you are not available for a certain day of the performance then your experience adjusts accordingly.
Will I miss the piece if I go on holiday?
This depends on you. The nature of the experience is that it adapts to your day-to-day schedule. All interactions are organised with you to fit around your life. If you go away for a prolonged period of time just be aware that your experience will effectively be on pause, so you may have things to catch up on when you return.
We understand that £40 can seem a big investment, especially for something that isn’t totally clear what you’re getting into. This experience is still cheaper than most central stalls seats at most Regional Theatres. But this is more than a single night out at the theatre, this is a chance to partake in a unique, month-long immersive experience, which we can guarantee will be worth that little extra.
We see it as an investment of £10 per week, to get 4 weeks of immersive experience.
How have you come up with that price point?
The experience lasts about a month - it will start early March. You will get a notification to say you experience has started and it will be obvious when it has come to an end!
How long does the piece last?
Yes, audience members need to be at least 18 years old.
Are there any age restrictions for the experience?

My contact information has changed to that I initially gave - What do I do?
Unfortunately not - you make your own experience and however it begins or ends it will be your own personal journey. Don’t worry, it was probably supposed to go this way!
Can I start again?
Should you want to end the experience early, please email Riptide using the online form at the bottom of the page.
What do I do if I want to end the experience early?
Unfortunately not, The Lucky Ones is an experience designed to be completed on your own. However there is nothing stopping you buying individual tickets and sharing your own experiences. (They will be different!)
Can my friend and I do The Lucky One’s together?
Don’t worry, any data that you share with us will only ever be used in the performance and will be destroyed after the month is complete
How will my data be used?
We advise you go about your day-to-day routines with the necessary precautions (i.e. looking both ways whilst crossing the road!). We cannot be responsible for your actions outside of the designed experiences of the piece. We have risk assessed all of the designed elements throughout the experience. Please note, you will not be asked to do anything against your own will, or anything you may feel uncomfortable with. The choice is always yours.
