Riptide are delighted to announce 14 days, a new dating WhatsApp experience which is the opposite of swipe-right, swipe-left dating apps.

We focus on deeper emotional connection and match you with one person based on an in-depth questionnaire.

Then invest 5-30 minutes daily and complete a curated set of tasks, conversation starters and mini-date ideas which has been backed by the research on how we connect.

Quick FAQs

  • You fill in an in-depth questionnaire which will go through topics such as what you want in a relationship, what attributes you find attractive in others any non-negotiables.

    We will then use our algorithm to match you to someone who matches your criteria.

  • Riptide are one text or call away from stepping in and helping with whatever your problem might be.

    You will receive Riptide’s number on day one of the experience.

  • We will be with you every steop of the way. We give daily prompts and have check ins throughout the process. We will not be in your chats and therefore are relying on participants to self-police and tell us if there are any problems. Participants buy into the shared ground rules and terms and conditions at all times.

    On the very rare occasion participants want to stop the experience they will be talked through the blocking process by us.

  • You decide. After 14 days, much like after most speed dating events Riptide will ask each participant if they would like to continue speaking to their partner without the daily prompts. Riptide will then let each participant know the outcome.

  • Since March 2020 we have run a project very similar to this called Project Intimacy (a project focused on connecting people on a plutonic level). We have successfully paired over 2000 people from over 45 different countries - many of whom have done the experience multiple times.
